Staff join by a manager's invitation. Sign-in is handled separately, and Blackbird does not store passwords.
Separate note permissions
Safeguarding and SEND notes carry their own permissions, so access to a child record does not include those notes.
Data isolation at organisation level
Children, families, and staff records belong to one organisation, and requests never return another group's data.
Managed database sign-in
The API signs in to PostgreSQL with a managed identity, so a database password is not stored alongside the application.
